This policy is part of the Terms of Service between Penetrum LLC d/b/a Computus (“Computus”) and the customer.
Effective July 28, 2026.
1. Month to month service
Computus servers are billed monthly in advance, month to month, with no long term contract. A plan renews automatically at each renewal date unless cancelled.
2. How to cancel
To cancel, email support@computus.io from the address associated with your account, stating the server(s) to cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation must be submitted on or before your renewal date to take effect at that renewal date. Service continues, and billing continues, through the end of the period already paid for.
3. Refunds
If you cancel within 7 days of the start of service, you receive a full refund. Outside that 7 day window, fees already paid are not refunded for a partial month, whether from a mid period cancellation or a cancellation request submitted after the applicable renewal date; service continues through the end of the period you already paid for. If you believe you were billed in error, contact support@computus.io and we will review it.
4. Termination by Computus
If Computus terminates your service for a reason other than an Acceptable Use Policy violation or nonpayment, with 30 days notice under the Terms of Service, we will refund fees for any remaining, unused portion of the current billing period on a prorated basis.
5. Data after cancellation
Data stored on your server is wiped 7 days after cancellation or termination takes effect. Export anything you need before then; Computus does not retain a copy of your server’s data.
