Penetrum LLC d/b/a Computus (“Computus”) responds to reports of copyright infringement and network abuse involving servers we host.
Effective July 28, 2026.
1. Abuse contact
Reports of network abuse, spam, or other Acceptable Use Policy violations originating from a Computus server should be sent to support@computus.io, including the source IP address, timestamps, and any supporting logs.
2. DMCA takedown notices
Computus responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. A valid notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (URL, IP address, or similar).
- Your contact information: name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

3. What happens after a report
Computus investigates reports and forwards applicable notices to the affected customer. Depending on severity and whether the customer responds and resolves the issue, Computus may require the customer to remove or disable access to the material, or may suspend or terminate the server per the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. Counter-notices
A customer who believes material was removed or disabled in error may send a counter-notice to support@computus.io identifying the material and including the statements required under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(g)(3).
5. Repeat infringers
Computus may terminate service for customers determined to be repeat infringers.
